Good morning my friends,
And it is indeed an incredible feeling to be among friends. Though our reasons for joining together are wrought with uncertainty and in some cases downright fear, we still find our peace together. We find our joy in a sometimes crazy world together. We find the strength that only a fellow warrior can bring us. And yes, in a way we build our new lives and our futures together.
This is powerful stuff if we really stop to think about it. But I have to tell you from my own past experience with the dragon that there's no greater feeling then to be cast from the darkness of fear and confusion into the light of understanding that is OOB. We understand because we've either been there or are there. Because we've walked the same path that others must now walk.
Though the weapons have changed, our purpose has not for we deal in the stuff that cannot be seen. The stuff that lives in the realm of love and understanding. The stuff that no doctor can give us because the heart of a dragon slayer lives outside the realm of the physical. The heart of the dragon slayer instead lives in the reality that is life.
We cherish it so much because we have stared death in the face and said that this will not stand! We will not ever give up on ourselves or the fight of another! We cannot! It's just not in the soul of a dragon slayer to turn our backs on another in need. It's just not in the soul of a dragon slayer to give up on a life that we so badly want to see. That we want to live to our fullest potential!
So get out there my friends. Walk the walk of a dragon slayer. Know that in this walk, you are never alone. Realize that the fight of a dragon slayer is a noble fight and never believe even for a moment that you cannot win for this is not in the vocabulary of us. No, instead we look to the positive that is out there every day.
We look past the pain or fear that we might be feeling and soar onward, never for a moment believing that our life is anything but wonderful. We have to live this way. It's just the way it is. It's just the way we survive. It's just what makes us what we are.
