You know me !

I am Kat and I have been in the battle of a lifetime fighting hep c and also the associated things involving cirrhosis,
I won the battle with the dragon it took six trips into the war and guess who came out of it alive ?
ME ! If a lady can do treatment six times in (15 years) then you can make up your mind to begin your walk of victory as well.
We have a lot of people on treatment that would love to talk to you in the chatrooms, always encouraging you and helping you when you need it.
Strictly from people that have been there and done that, we do not have doctors or nurses here just us the people and their families looking for some real answers on coping with side effects and beyond.

This forum was created by a man his name was Lou (Unico/munch) and he sure was an amazing person !

He was diagnosed with hep c the 2b flavor, and he did his treatment right here with all of us while creating the most wonderfully funny and controversial hep c website in the USA.

This site I have continued in his vision is so packed full of the best people on the planet, you be hard pressed to find this many positively open hearted , open minded, open armed individuals that are here to help you on your journey through TX and beyond.

You may wonder why we do it year after year?

Well new friends it is because we know the pain of illness and isolation, depression,
we know how it feels to be a misfit in society just because of some stereotypical sneers and whisperer's there are in the world.

Too bad for them, because they are the ones really suffering, ignorance can be bliss for some.

That doesn't put any damper on our quest to be here for you, no way.
Everyone here is exactly positioned in their area of expertise, so look around read our stories of hope and determination, read it all and keep it for yourselves, when the time is right you will have the tools to reach out and help others and that my friend is the most rewarding thing you can do for mankind.
