The Day Stigma Died

Crow & "OOB" Sure thing Crow, Wish it were all so easy to just shut er down and stop caring, go on living life as if nothing were killing our livers and brains, sure would be a wonderful day to be hep c free, cancer free, hiv free, running through the fields of wildflowers with no cares in the world. Then reality jars our minds when we lose another commrade in battle for their life , we cannot run or hide from the facts, 170 million people will be lost on earth from hep c alone and in severe pain simply because no one bothered to teach them to fight back or how to load their weapons. Stigma will control if we do not It isn't happening as long as I live, and I am hep c free four years on Valentine's Day.. The world likes to think hiv comes only from gay sexual deviants and it's a good way of getting rid of them, hep c is all about junkies and who cares because it is a good way to rid the world of them too, you awful smokers too please die from cancer

Awesome Monday Chuck & "OOB" Rebirth and choosing a better life begins right now, we have all been given free will and large brains in order to re-invent our thinking and acting when things get stale or a relationship dies, a family member passes and our world changes because we no longer can touch that person or laugh with them. It is the cruel part of life and nature. Only one thing more deceptive then nature's eye is when we have "little" faith, there is an everlasting light and love far beyond what we can see, that stops all hope for the world when there is nothing better than simple human existence. There is a greater plan for us ahead when we learn to move toward earthly happiness it may feel like everything is as happy as it can be, but then it can all change and we must face many difficult decisions in our lifetime in order to survive. Life isn't supposed to be a constant battle but a constant learning and evolving energy that sees it's r

Colorado Aspens By: Chuck

Good morning my friends, I’m quite sure your doing well or at least as good as you can be! I now have a visual and yes, fall is approaching in our little valley as is evidenced by the aspens as they turn golden and march slowly down the peaks toward us. It really is interesting to watch an advancement of this type just because it gives one an actual visual of just what nature is doing. At times it’s hard to perceive the workings of nature, mainly because she does so much in the background. Unless we are aware of her, we really don’t see the miracles of life being performed all around us every day. Even as we breathe it’s hard to actually see the interaction that takes place between the trees and other green stuff. Were it not for the trees we wouldn’t have a lot of oxygen to breathe and likewise if it weren’t for us humans, those trees wouldn’t have what we breathe out to work with. But the main thing is that whether we are aware of nature or not, she still works her magic all around u

Our Purpose By: Chuck

Good morning my friends, I was just thinking about the time before one starts tx. You know, that really scary time. I remember well what it was like when I first found out that the dragon was in me. I was scared and not willing to admit that I was. I was confused and was wondering just what might happen to me in the future. I had no clear plan nor any idea of what needed to be done next. At times like this we tend to put ourselves in the hands of our doctors but the sad thing is that many of them know nothing of the dreaded disease called hepatitis C other then it exists. But the day you get that diagnosis, it kind of turns your world upside down. It sends you off into a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts of the kind you’ve never had before. Thoughts about life and death. Thoughts about living with this dreaded disease. Thoughts about what the treatments will really be like. All of these things ran through me and then one day I woke up and said, "I’m ready to fight! I’m ready to t

~Loving Your Attitude~

Wow Chuck ! I sure love that attitude my friend, and I hope that people who are afraid to fight this virus do find us, we love nothing better than helping them through the times of uncertainty and thoughts of fear and crippling isolation that stigma tries to ruin our lives with . When anyone is diagnosed with a potentially deadly disease, it sure is devastating at the time, it also makes them aware of our human fragility and we find the strength and God's gift of natural born instinct for survival kicks in and with the help of so many lovely people here in "OOB" and our FAITH makes the dragon squirm in fear of us ! The positive self talk brings positive results ! Amen !!! Love; Kat
