Good morning Out of Bounders!
I remember back when Lou was with us and I first joined Hep C Out of Bounds. I’d been having a rather hard time on some other support sites and Lou found me and invited me here, to become a part of what was then his web site. I joined and was amazed at the difference between this site and some of the others. Thing is that nothing was really "out of bounds" on this site. We could talk about the weather or politics or sports or whatever.
This added a sometimes badly needed distraction to the world of treatments. We could join in on just about any conversation that we felt comfortable joining in with. And the laughter. Oh, the laughter that we all had as we stood in the shadow of the dragon. The way that joy could be found in even the darkest depths of our lives. The peace and the love was incredible!
And what’s amazing is that even with all the transitions that we went through. Even with the sometimes dark days that would find us, nothing has really changed. Kat has kept the web site the same as it always was.
To me this says that this is exactly the way it was supposed to be.

walks through the house from time to time that he has a smile on his face. He sees the dream that he started still alive and flowing onward because of the people that are here and of course because of Kat’s commitment to the cause that always was hep C out of bounds. And when he leaves this house I know that his soul is at peace for even though he can’t be with us right now, he knows that this magical place is still magical. He knows that what was in his heart really did translate into
a reality that cannot be denied.
But the real beauty of this place is all of you. Kat supplies the ground for us to fight and love on but without all of you, there would be no out of bounds. Now that would be a crime because we fight together and this brings strength to us all. We cry together and this in the end strengthens our souls. We laugh together and this strengthens our spirits. And we win together and this is the most precious gift of all. To see the reality that is a dragon slayer free of the dragon. To see the joy that comes from winning!
So never stop coming here my friends. There is so much that is here long after our personal battles are over.
But the real beauty of this place is all of you. Kat supplies the ground for us to fight and love on but without all of you, there would be no out of bounds. There’s so much that we can do for those who are behind us on the road to freedom. And after the war, as our strength returns to us and our minds begin to clear from the long use of those meds, this is a magical time like no other!

So take what you need. Use this magical place to help your soul to see light on those darkest of days. Remember that so long as you are a part of OOB that you will never be alone because there is no distance when it comes to the heart and the soul. There is no power greater then the love that we share together. That’s why this place isn’t about just me or you.
