" Carry On "

I've been thinking of something to write for the Sat. D.O.S. tonight and then I read this beautiful message from a man named:

Neal H. Mayerson, Ph.D.

I thought it perfect for our special day and that day is now, being thankful to wake another morning, to enjoy our families and talking to all of you that have been loyal and so very helpful to anyone you meet.

That is the kind of people I love to associate with because we all have the same goal of ridding the world and our family of the hep c virus...

" Determination drives the time and effort spent on our initiatives – the proactive side of our activities. Compassion forms the basis of our sense of urgency – because every day that passes and every effort that falls short represents a failed opportunity to be helpful to real people in need. Gratitude causes us to work hard to put each and every dollar to use – for we appreciate the good fortune, the sweat, and the sacrifice from which our assets derive. Overarching all of these values is a sense of duty to help repair the world and leave it in better condition than it was when it was put in our hands to care for. Determination, Compassion, Gratitude, and Duty. These are the cornerstone values that our foundations strive to embody and honor. As we go about our work we recognize that none of us accomplishes much of anything meaningful alone. So, I thank all of the kindred spirits who work tirelessly in the non-profit trenches day-in and day-out to make this world a better place for all – and to each and every person who links arms in the amazing human chain of caring of which we are a part.

It is only through the dedicated and collective effort of many that we succeed. "By: Neal H. Mayerson, Ph.D.

It reminded me of all our years being here for others and believe me it isn't going by unnoticed...No matter how many naysayers there are out there, we have ten times the guts and positive determination to give them a fight for their lives , that is the gift from being on the front lines of the war and the loss of our beloved comrades we have all endured over the years...They want us to carry on......And we shall.....Love you; Kat

There is only one "Hep C Out Of Bounds" & There is one Kathi that fought the beast six times in order to bring it to it's knees forever and ever Amen.
